For many people having sexual concern causes distress. Sexual concerns are common and luckily most are treatable. Sexual concerns often cause stress to a relationships. Some common feelings people with sexual concerns or their partners may have are isolation, depressed or frustrated. Often by the time people seek help their relationship is in a crisis or strained.
Sexual concerns cannot be separated from the relationship and sometimes a person’s sexual concern can be a result from a sexual problem their partner is or had been having. It is suggested for people in a relationship, where possible, for the couple to see the doctor together and discuss their concerns.
